Val Aspden visited Bardsey for 14 days on 15/10/2005:
“We stayed at Nant in 2004 for a week and so enjoyed it that we went back last year for 2 weeks staying in Carreg Bach. What a delightful place. It was wonderful to sit out at night and see the incredible sunsets. What an island! You can walk birdwatch, seal watch - their were new pups when we were there and we could hear the seals calling. Everyone was so helpful - libby and David, the farmers, and Patrick and Gwyneth, estate workers, really made the holiday for us. Where else can you get up in the morning and collect fresh jersey milk from Sunshine!! The island is just so peaceful and tranquil. WE are really looking forward to visiting agian in October and meeting Emyr, the new warden.”
